Efficiency Maine
Small Battery Program
Earn Incentives with Battery Storage in Maine
Battery storage can do more than provide backup power during an outage. Through the Efficiency Maine Small Battery Program, eligible battery owners may earn incentive payments by allowing their battery to occasionally support Maine’s electric grid during periods of high electricity demand.
Maine Solar Solutions is an Efficiency Maine Registered Vendor for solar and battery storage. We currently install qualifying FranklinWH aPower 2 and Tesla Powerwall battery systems.
How the Program Works
The Efficiency Maine Small Battery Program helps support grid reliability during periods of high electricity demand. Participating battery systems can occasionally provide stored energy to the grid when it is needed most.
