Eligible homeowners can earn up to approximately $576 per Powerwall per year through Tesla’s Virtual Power Plant (VPP) program. Events typically occur on weekday evenings, may last up to three hours, and participation is managed automatically through the Tesla app.

One of the advantages of the Tesla program is that you can adjust your backup reserve settings, allowing you to determine how much battery capacity remains available for outages while still participating in the program.

If you’re considering a Tesla Powerwall, participation in the Small Battery Program may help increase the value of your battery investment. Enrollment is completed through the Tesla app after your system is installed and interconnected.
