About the FranklinWH aPower 2
The aPower 2 is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery that stores energy from your solar array or the grid to power your home during outages. Each system includes the aGate, a smart controller that manages solar, battery, grid, and generator power for seamless operation. With an IP67 weather-resistant enclosure and integrated heating system, the aPower 2 is built to perform reliably in Maine’s climate.

Earn money with your FranklinWH battery
FranklinWH customers in Maine may be eligible for the Efficiency Maine Small Battery Program, a program that pays homeowners for sharing a portion of their battery’s capacity during periods of high electricity demand.
Eligible homeowners can earn up to $600 per battery per year with full participation. Events occur up to 60 times per year, typically on weekday evenings, and each event lasts three hours. Your battery does the work automatically — and FranklinWH issues payments to you after each program season. Actual earnings may vary based on your level of participation and battery settings.
Can I add FranklinWH to an existing solar system?
