At Maine Solar Solutions, we’ve always believed that solar is about more than panels — it’s about trust, people, and building a better future for Maine.
Over the past 13+ years, we’ve grown from a small local company into one of the state’s most trusted solar installers. And now, we’re proud to share something new: a refreshed brand and website that better reflects who we are, what we stand for, and where we’re going.
Why we rebranded
As the solar industry evolves, we are evolving alongside it, not just with technology and expertise but also in communicating what matters most to us as a company.
In early 2024, we took a close look at our brand—from our website and logo to the materials we share with customers throughout their solar journey—and asked ourselves: Does it still reflect the trust our customers place in us? Does it capture the professionalism and heart of our team? And does it clearly show why choosing local solar matters?
The answer was: not quite.
So we asked our customers, our employees, and the market those same questions. Then we listened. And what we heard was clear:

This rebrand isn’t just about a new logo — it’s about reaffirming who we are:

What’s changing
We’re rolling out a refreshed logo, a cleaner visual identity, and clearer messaging — all designed to reflect what sets us apart: expertise, trust, and our deep roots in Maine.
You’ll also notice:
- A newly designed website that makes exploring solar easier than ever
- Updated signage, branded trucks, and team gear
- New customer materials that simplify your solar journey
Our new tagline says it best: “Solar for Mainers, from Mainers.”
Strengthening our commitment to the community
We’ve always believed that solar energy is just one way we can contribute to a stronger Maine. As part of this rebrand, we’re deepening that commitment.
This year, we launched:
- A company-wide Volunteer Day, bringing all 50+ employees together for a paid day of service at the Center for Wildlife in Cape Neddick
- A new paid volunteer benefit, giving each employee one fully paid day per year to support a community cause they care about
We’ve also continued supporting local organizations like MOFGA, FreeportCAN, and others, and we’re excited to continue expanding that work.
