As of January 2024, all new grid-tied solar electric systems come with a 30-year limited warranty. This covers panels, inverters, optimizers, labor, and remote monitoring. It’s the longest solar warranty currently available in Maine, and rivals coverage offered across the country.

This 30-year limited warranty applies to grid-tied systems and includes:

Solar panels
Inverters
Optimizers
Labor
Remote monitoring services

Off-grid systems are not covered under our warranty. For off-grid protection, talk to your solar consultant.

Extended coverage beyond most manufacturer warranties
The longest warranty period of any solar installer in Maine
Protection if an equipment manufacturer goes out of business

Nope! For all new grid-tied Maine Solar Solutions solar arrays, our warranty is included in your solar proposal. There are no hidden fees, additional costs, or deductibles—we’re all about transparent, upfront pricing.

Yes. Our warranty can transfer to the new homeowner at no cost. Just let us know when ownership changes, and we’ll take care of the rest.

If a part under warranty is no longer made, we’ll find a comparable replacement to ensure your system stays efficient and operational.

Our Service team aims to resolve most approved claims within 7–10 business days.
