Maine Solar Solutions + Zero Energy Homes: Partnering for a Brighter, More Affordable Future | Maine Solar Solutions

  • Monday, August 12, 4–7 PM

Energy Independence, Built In
This partnership builds on Maine Solar Solutions’ mission to help more Mainers take control of their energy use. Each Zero Energy Home will be connected to the grid and powered by a solar array designed and installed by Maine Solar Solutions—meeting 100% (or more!) of the home’s electric and heating needs. That means no fossil fuels and little to no utility bills.

Built for Maine, by Mainers
These homes aren’t just efficient—they’re designed to be attainable. The Searsport model is available to buyers earning 80% or less of Waldo County’s median income. As production scales, Zero Energy Homes will offer options for those earning between 80% and 150% of area median income. Even better: about 80% of the building materials are sourced right here in Maine and the region, keeping jobs and dollars in our local economy.
